Prompt Tracking gives you a daily visibility score for each prompt (question) you are monitoring across AI engines.

Where to find it

Go to Prompt Tracking in the left sidebar.

How it works

Every day, GRRO computes a visibility score for each of your tracked prompts based on that day's recommendation checks. The score is a composite of four factors:

Factor

Weight

What it measures

Mention Rate

35%

What percentage of checks mentioned your brand

Rank Position

30%

Where you appear in recommendation lists (position 1 = best)

Sentiment

20%

Whether AI talks about you positively, neutrally, or negatively

Consistency

15%

How reliably you are mentioned (not just sometimes)

Scores range from 0 to 100. Higher is better.

The three tabs

Overview

Your high-level stats at a glance:

  • Average visibility score across all prompts

  • Total prompts being tracked

  • How many prompts are trending up

  • Your top-performing AI provider

Plus a provider breakdown chart showing how each AI engine performs for your brand.

Trends

Time-series charts of your visibility scores over time.

You can select date ranges: 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, or 90 days.

Use this to spot patterns. Are your scores improving after content changes? Did a competitor push you down on certain prompts?

Prompts

A table of every tracked prompt with:

  • Current visibility score

  • 7-day trend (up, down, or stable, based on a 3-point threshold)

  • Breakdown by AI provider

Click into any prompt for detailed history.

Provider colors

Each AI engine has a consistent color across all charts:

  • Perplexity – teal

  • Gemini – blue

  • ChatGPT – green

  • Claude – amber

  • Grok – light blue

  • Copilot – purple

Tips

  • A visibility score above 70 is strong. Below 40 means AI is rarely recommending you for that prompt.

  • Check the Trends tab after making content changes. It usually takes 2–4 weeks to see the impact in your scores.

  • If a prompt is trending down, check Citation Tracking for that prompt to see exactly what changed in the AI responses.

  • Use Prompt Tracking alongside Visibility Gap Analysis. Prompt Tracking tells you how well you are doing. Visibility Gap tells you where competitors are doing better.
