Content scoring rates your web pages on how ready they are for AI platforms. Each page gets a score from 0 to 100 based on several factors that determine whether AI is likely to reference your content.
What gets scored
GRRO checks your content across several areas:
Clarity. Is your content easy to understand? AI platforms prefer content that is written clearly and answers questions directly.
Structure. Does your content use proper headers, lists, and formatting? Well-structured content is easier for AI to parse and extract information from.
Schema markup. Does your page include structured data? Schema helps AI platforms understand what your content is about.
Authority signals. Does your content demonstrate expertise? References to credentials, data, and experience help AI trust your content.
Freshness. Is your content up to date? AI platforms prefer recent, accurate information over outdated content.
How to score your content
You can score content in two ways:
Individual pages. Enter a specific URL to score a single page.
Batch scoring. Run scoring across multiple pages at once to get a broader view of your content health.
What the scores mean
Higher scores mean AI platforms are more likely to reference your content in their responses. A low score doesn't mean your content is bad. It means there are specific things you can improve to make it more AI-friendly.
Improving your scores
After scoring a page, GRRO shows you what's pulling your score down. Focus on the lowest-scoring areas first for the biggest impact. Common improvements include:
Adding schema markup to pages that don't have it
Breaking up long paragraphs into shorter, focused sections
Adding clear headers that describe each section
Updating outdated information
Including specific data points and examples
