Tracking competitors lets you see how your AI visibility compares to the brands you compete with. GRRO monitors their mentions alongside yours across all six AI platforms.

Adding competitors during onboarding

In Step 3 of the onboarding process, GRRO automatically suggests competitors based on your website. It looks at your industry, products, and services to find brands you likely compete with.

You can:

  • Keep the suggested competitors

  • Remove any that aren't relevant

  • Add new ones by typing a brand name or domain

Adding competitors after onboarding

Once you're set up, you can add or remove competitors in two places:

  • Knowledge Base. Go to the Competitors section in your Knowledge Base.

  • Settings. Go to Settings and find the Brand section.

To add a competitor, enter their brand name or website domain. GRRO will start tracking their AI visibility right away.

What competitor data shows you

Once you've added competitors, their data appears in several places:

  • Home page. The competitor comparison section shows a quick overview.

  • Visibility dashboard. Detailed side-by-side tracking of mentions, rankings, and share of voice.

  • Prompts. See which prompts mention your competitors but not you.

Tips for choosing competitors

  • Pick brands that compete with you for the same customers.

  • Include both direct competitors and brands that show up in AI responses for your topics.

  • You don't need to add every competitor at once. Start with 3 to 5 and add more as you learn.
