Prompt research helps you discover new questions your audience is asking AI platforms. Instead of guessing what to track, GRRO finds relevant prompts for you.

How it works

GRRO analyzes your industry, your brand, and your existing data to suggest prompt themes. These themes represent broad topics your audience cares about.

Suggested themes

When you open prompt research, you'll see a list of suggested themes based on your industry. Each theme covers a topic area where people are asking AI questions.

For example, if you run a SaaS company, you might see themes like:

  • Product comparisons

  • Pricing questions

  • Integration options

  • Best practices

Using your GSC data

If you've connected Google Search Console, GRRO uses your actual search data to find better themes. Since your GSC data shows what people already search for on Google, it gives GRRO a head start in finding the right AI prompts to track.

Connecting GSC is optional, but it makes prompt research more accurate.

Exploring a theme

Click on any theme to see the specific prompts related to it. Each prompt shows:

  • The question people are asking

  • Which AI platforms include it

  • Whether it's already in your tracking list

Adding prompts to your list

When you find a prompt worth tracking, add it directly from the research view. It will start being monitored across all AI platforms right away.

Tips for prompt research

  • Check back regularly. New prompts emerge as AI platforms update.

  • Focus on prompts that match your products or services.

  • Don't track everything. Prioritize prompts where showing up would drive real business results.
